Amigurumi

Last night, I was watching a knitting/crocheting show (I think it was called Knitting Daily)… They had a segment where they crocheted these cute Japanese-style dolls called Amigurumi. This may be a perfect first crocheting project, since I bought a Learn How to Crochet kit a few weeks ago.

Growing a Greener World TV

I just read about an upcoming TV series on PBS called "Growing a Greener World" which will be hosted by Joe Lamp’l (Garden Smart, Fresh From the Garden and joegardener.com) and Patti Moreno (Garden Girl). I can’t wait to see it.

Driving Home

I am actually typing this on my laptop on our way home. It’s about 9:30pm and I am so tired and kinda home sick. I can’t wait to get home… plus, my but hurts from sitting in this car since this morning.

Our trip has taken so long, because we made numerous stops, to gas stations, fast foods, rest areas and a lunch break in Santa Barbara, which I never been to before. There was also pouring rains along the way and the accidents go along with that. We took 101 again, because Interstate 5 was closed down in some locations.

I can’t wait to take a shower and watch my recorded show Battlestar Galactica, Kyle XY and The Big Bang Theory in bed. I also am very anxious to see if any of my other sowed seeds have sprouted.

 

3 New Gardening Shows…

I just noticed that HGTV is airing three gardening shows which are new to me:

– Secret Gardens of… (2 shows Tuesdays, 9am & 9:30am PST)
– Great Amercian Gardens (2 shows Wednesdays, 9am & 9:30am PST)
– World Garden Tour (2 shows Thursday, 9am & 9:30am PST)

…so if your a gardening show fan like I am, you may want to see if you get these.

“Collection of Coleus”

I just saw the TV guide and today’s episode of Gardening by the Yard is entitled “Collection of Coleus“… You know I’m TiVo’ing it!

Here on the Pacific coast (DirecTV), it’s on at 8:30am on HGTV.

More Gardening Shows…

One of my favorite gardening show is back on the air on HGTV. Gardener’s Diary is airing at 4am (PST) Tuesdays and Thursday, preceding Rebecca’s Garden.

There are also more showings of Gardening by the Yard during the week, airing at the same time slot on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

I checked Yahoo! TV and it looks like these are older episodes, which I don’t mind, because I probably haven’t seem them, so they will be new to me…

My gardening show archive continue to grow… yeay!

New Show: Urban Outsiders

‘The Dirt on Gardening’

As I’m looking through today’s TV schedule, I noticed a new gardening show that premieres today called ‘The Dirt on Gardening‘. It airs tonight at 7:30pm PST (and replays at 10:30pm) on DIY Network (DirecTV channel 230). Looks like it’s a Q&A type of show.
