Stitch Modern – East Bay Modern Quilt Guild’s First Quilt Show…

The East Bay Modern Quilt Guild that I’m a member of is having its first quilt show called Stitch Modern. Come check out my quilt called “Habitat Arrows” which I just recently finished. You’ll also see other great handmade quilts from the EBMQG members and see how each quilter interprets “modern quilting” differently, wheather it’s with the latest fabrics and traditional patterns, or free piecing using no pattern.

Syngenta Flowers/Gilroy Rotary Flower Fest 2010…

One of my coworkers told me about a big annual flower sale that she’s been to in Gilroy. She described it as masses of flowers for sale, with people grabbing plants like crazy. The plants are probably the trail plants that they use to test the seeds… I did some searching online and found information about it.

I’m Going to the San Francisco Flower & Garden Show!!!

I heard that the San Francisco Flower & Garden Show starts Wednesday, so I asked my boss if I can to take Thursday off so I can take my Mom to it.

I’ve never been to a Flower & Garden Show, so this’ll be an experience…

Although not as big as the Pacific Orchid Exposition in San Francisco, I was happy I went to the Sonoma Orchid Society Show and Sale 2007 in Santa Rosa.
