8 Years…
“Tatay, we love you and miss you so much.” …
I am spending the weekend with friends in Hayward, but before I go, I visited my dad at the cemetery. Today was the 8 anniversary of his death. I still miss him, especially when I’ve accomplished something… whether it be something I’ve made or having a photo appear in a book or a new recipe I cooked. I wish he was here to share these experience with and hope that he’s proud of me…

Cartoon Characters…
There’s been a campaign on Facebook to: “Change your Facebook profile picture to a cartoon from your childhood and invite your friends to do the same. Until Monday (Dec. 6), there should be no human faces on Facebook, but an invasion of memories. A campaign to prevent child abuse, facebook folks!”
I usually don’t like these types of campaigns, but I enjoyed seeing all these cartoons character from the past.

My niece posted a pic of Pepper Ann as her profile pics. I’ve never heard of this cartoon, but it reminded me of Fido Dido (which she never heard of). I use to have a Fido Dido watch in college. (Hmm, I wonder if I still have it somewhere). Well, I did a search on Wikipedia and discovered that both Pepper Ann and Fido Dido are created (or co-created) by Sue Rose.

Another Dream with my Dad in it…
I had another dream with my Dad in it…
Me and my Mom were going shopping to Target. We were walking to the car, but it was our old van and my Dad was in the drivers seat. He really didn’t say much while as my Mom was getting into the front passenger seat, and I hoped in the back.
My Dad drove for a while and I remember sitting up against the front front seat so I can see what’s up ahead. He had something metalic on my his head above his left ear. It was like he had surgery there.
Once we reached the parking lot it wasn’t our local Target, I didn’t recognize it. The parking lot was cramped, kinda like the parking lot at the CostPlus in San Francisco. We found a spot up front, which was a handicap spot. Before my Dad parked in, me and my Mom got off the van. Then for some reason my shoe were off in front of the front wheels and my backpack on top of the van. My Dad drove ahead and ran over my shoes… My Mom was waving and shouting for him to stop and back up… I looked at my shoe and there were fine except for a little hole on the side… and I was telling my Mom that it was okay…
Then I was awaken by my brother playing Charice really loud on the living room computer… ARGH!
Land Line Phone Alternative? + JR on TV
I want to get rid of our $40 AT&T land land phone plan.
Any suggestion to an alternative?
My nephew JR washed the dishes this evening so I get to relax and play games on my iPhone :) As he was washing, we saw him painting on Channel 7 News… Awesome!!!
