Hello… Welcome to my blog, joeysplanting.

I’m a 43 year old Filipino-American Graphic Design Production Artist living in the San Francisco Bay Area. I’ve work at various ad and marketing agencies, including J.Walter Thompson; Foote, Cone & Belding; Marketing Drive; Rivet and DraftFCB.

I’ve been blogging off and on since 2002. I started with daily journals on LiveJournal, then found that it would be a good way to keep track of my plants and gardens, so I write a lot about that now.

Besides gardening, I’m also interested in photography… and now I’ve started becoming interested quilting and cooking, so I take a lot photos of the quilts and dishes I cook and bake. I use two main cameras: a DSLR, Canon EOS 60D, and my mobile phone, a Samsung Galaxy S3.
